Quality control starts with a strict selection of reliable suppliers. Next all incoming raw materials undergo a careful entry check. For a perfect maturing of natural cheeses nothing is left to coincidence. The temperature and the moisture in the air of the maturing spaces are checked in detail. The regular turning of the cheeses are done fully automatic.
Even stricter hygiene regulations are in place for the special Restricted Area, where we cut, grate and pre-pack cheese. In order to be able to guarantee constant quality, taste and food safety we regularly perform tests during the processing. Samples of raw materials and end products are regularly sent to a prominent independent laboratory for testing.
From the time the raw materials are brought in to the time the end product is ready to be delivered the product information is accurately registered, so everything we do can be traced to the last detail. Because we work according to quality system that is continuously kept up-to-date, we always work with the same, well structured method. This quality system complies with a variety of standards.
